Terminator to be deployed to Iraq

No, The Governator will not be emigrating to Iraq, but Wired has a story on the the latest in remote controlled military hardware: Robots with guns. Ground combat without casualties (on the American side). The machines look a lot like the war machines in the futuristic sections of the Terminator film series, although they're a lot smaller.
A shipment of the Talon robots are to be deployed to Iraq for spring 2005 for actual combat use. Is this the T1, predecessor of the Arnold machines?

(Nr 3 in a series of lives imitating art)

[UPDATE: The analogy to the Terminator films wouldn't be complete without this story on self-reconfiguring (i.e. shape morphing) robots]
